Design-a-Qee: The Bug

Hong Kong design company Toy2R has established a strong reputation for presenting limited edition, collectable toy products that utilise global art and design talent. The Qee Keychain product range is one of their most successful brands... within a set of generic three-dimensional shapes, designers are invited to give free reign to their imagination.

For the Design-a-Qee UK 2004 series, Toy2R launched a competition where everyone could enter their version of a Qee. Out of over a thousand submitted drawings, the panel of judges selected twenty winning entries - four designs per category, which were then shown at an exhibition in London, and later produced as a special UK limited edition production run.
